Hamish was a great encourager. He must have been wonderful as a Music adviser. It was a privilege to be invited round to sit at his feet and learn. Although his faith, knowledge, understanding and campaigning were way beyond mine, he would always find something to appreciate in what you said. I always left his flat feeling better. He was a one off and we were so fortunate to know him. As others have said, I hope he’ll be able to hear now and add his wonderful voice to the singing in heaven. Chris
